whatever happen to the sky that used to be blue?
When it rains, there is thunder and lightning. when the rain stops, there's usually a rainbow.
It used to be sunny and blue most of the time.
Suddenly, my sky is grey yet there is no rain, no thunder, no storm. I cant see the sun anymore.
What is the world turning into, what is my world turning into?
Will my sky ever clear up ? is the original sky grey?

The bride to be had great fun too of cos, esp with our the "sexy" and Woohoo stripper.

Wassup next? Gonna be a super busy month. Totally in the festive mood but there are endless things to work on in order to embrace 2010.

The fun part coming right up have gotta be my NEPAL trip with the dance babes. We have been trying to do a trip since sec sch days, ironically it materialise only 10 yrs later. And i m glad it is going to happen after all! Cant wait manz! its a place i 've been waiting to explore too!

Right after that on my agenda comes Junwen's weddin, Brendon's wedding, my dearest Ghost's wedding, Zhihui's wedding( i m praying for an off day), Shuosi's wedding ( i hope i b able to drop by), one of my fave festival-XMAS!, my beloved only friend's hen's night and her dinner+ garden party which i am absolutely looking forward to!

Actually i love attending wedding dinners ( provided i am pretty close to). It's always a happy union of a couple in love, a great reason to dress up (which means u gt an excuse to shop), yummy food, and most of the time you get to catch up with friends and old friends!

I found my favourite inexpensive cleansing foam by accident. This smells totally nice, like strawberry, feels very comfy on e skin and doesnt dry out after cleansing. My mum even commented this is really good and feels almost e same as her SKII cleansing foam.

I chanced upon it on my last incheon trip, baviphat is a new korean brand and going for 30% off storewide so being the "cheap def must buy " me, i went in n ask the salesgal to recommend me one since i need a facial foam anyway.For goodness, after discount its only abt 6-7 bucks?

NO regrets since. so batch girls and anyone dropping by seoul next time, pls help me stock dis up! haha.. i hope for another korea flight soon.

The maintenance ppl are back. However still short handed.

Am at hoh's place now n it's really a bit of a chore to post pictures. Hoh's asleep, guess he's been tired out by the long hrs and demanding job.

Past few mths was crazy busy.Now still bit busy but also lazy.hiek.

I am absolutely into SATC whenever i have the free time. Watching that show makes me miss New York City, it is such a cliche girl's show, with all the love, sex, fashion talk but still i totally dig the show. the friendship within the girls are really amazing n they age so gracefully.

If u have seen the show, i tink it's such a waste for Carrie to miss out Aidan. I dunno whats she's thinking of. Ok its fictional, i just need a place to share my burning thoughts.haha. Well 3 more discs and i m done with the last season! I m so gonna watch that movie again, n i hope they are on the way to a 2nd movie..

Ok let's see, as my roster suxs e last few mths, there are limited pics of trips i can post. but there are a few, like my trip to korea and san francisco was a great one where i revisit fisherman's wharf.Shopped too much in korea so din managed to take much pics.

Oh yea, i finally finally managed to steal some time n go on a short hol with Hoh to phuket. I wished the trip was a little longer though. Was kinda rush. I wish one day , we could leave our job at the same time n go on a really long backpacking trip like say 3 months..wow..
anwa,I shouldnt really nd to blog abt my phuket trip cos the pics are up on facebook and its on Hoh's blog. hiek.

Something that got me a bit excited today! I dropped by orchard to trim my brows and passed by ION! wow seems lik lotsa new and fantastic shops coming our way.I dont usually shop in singapore but 1st time after so long , i actually feel like shopping!! N i shld nvr go out alone again, cos i saw dresses going on a 50% off at far east and i cant resist the temptations n got myself 2.
Excuses being : I have lotsa wedding dinner to attend this yr. haha. Am i entering the age, or does it happen that most of my friends found the one abt the same time? I would wish its the latter.

Am entering into the later half year of excitements and events. Weddings of my close friends one after another, am so looking forward to em! Sep we have Qin n Ken, Nov I have ghost n 2 other, Dec i have zhihui's, n coming Jan i have only friend! N of cos I can't wait for my nepal trip in nov with my dance babes, our 1st trip tgther, am sure will b a darn gd one!

I was cleaning out my lappie and i saw this.

My uni time-table in '04. If i din remember wrongly, i did spend quite some time formatting the pictures and cartoons. I even included my tuition slots! Haha, those were the days.

My uni time-table in 05. gosh that was nearly 4 years back. And i remember my attendance for PR2202 was only 20%. out of the 20%, 100% I was at least half an hour late. My only reason to attend the lecture is because i felt guilty that i took this module with junwen but am always not around.haha.Guess what module that is-Cosmetics and perfumes. i love modules without tutorials.

& my favourite fairy cartoon is now still on my blog!!! some things never change.

Time check: 1.10am nanjing. No one to talk to at this hour. finally decided to clear some dust on my blog.

i had like 3 nights in nanjing and this is the last night. if only my batch girl is with me then we would have ventured to su zhou or even yangzhou.too bad.

1st day was pretty good. 9 of us went for a tour and it cost us only 50 rmb for the whole day excluding the entrance fees. good deal. captain n my leading were very funny guys who kept us entertained the whole day.

My 2nd day, i slept till a freaking 3pm!!! gosh! so all i did was walk around my hotel. Shopping is not as cheap as other malls that i have been to in china. Disappointed.in fact the clothes are almost singapore price which i find ridiculous. Probably cos its at the "orchard" of nanjing. Store owners here are younger but more hostile.

Oh yes one interesting fact i've learnt abt nanjing. Pixiu ,the auspicious animal is actually a symbol of nanjing and there is one big one right at the city wall and also in front of the train station. So of cos i need to get bring one lucky one back with me from the country of origin.

Was very happy i have got 3 new stations in my latest roster, Moscow, houston and Nanjing.

My stay in moscow was a cold, snowing and short one. houston is now the most boring city that i have beeen to in USA. pictures are on hold.LAzy..anyway I would proudly say our science center is def a better place to visit than NASA. The space center was a super low budget one. i guess they need all the money for the apollo projects.

Suddenly.. I MISS LONDON AND NEW YORK CITY..arhhhhhh.. n of cos my hohhoh at home..

Back from holidays. Was a dramatic trip with my mum n siblings. One of the most tiring trips ever, cos i am the only coordinator and the tour guide. Me and mum had the most major quarrel on the last night of the trip. Bad bad one.. Was kinda hurting that things turned out that way.I've always wanted to bring my family on a holiday and finally got a chance to do it. unfortunately , we ended the trip with a bad note.

But fortunately, the 1st part of the trip was pretty fun, and i am glad me n bro could actually live in harmony.

Seriously, i feel kinda discouraged to go on a family trip again. But i want to go on one again, this time round with both my father and mum. Maybe to a resort or cruise where we can just relax or maybe on a tour where i need not worry about any planning. Next time will be better..but will take some time cos i need to save up all over again! haha

Greetings from paris!!! i bet everyone had a great reunion dinner. i had an early one with my set of crew last nite. and on the actual day (paris time), i had the following.....

Milky seafood cup noodles frm japan, pineapple tarts and bah kwa from home! reunion with me myself and I.haha

the milky seafood is really good, it has quite a bit of taco pieces.yums but gets a little gelat towards the end.

i thought i am going to have a good rest in paris. but ended up 1st day was making my way to galleria to run some errands. it was a crazy saturday.

1st- i was suppposed to meet the crew at 1pm to go to the galleria mall but when i woke up,it was 1.15pm.i intended to nap for just half an hr.I was in shock.now i had to make my way to galleria alone, a place which i have never been and a distance from the hotel. i was thinking "aiya heck la might as well walk abt 15 mins to champ elysee to grab my friends' LV and go back". I, however decide to make my own way to galleria and look for the crew as i do not want to risk making my way back on a deserted path ALONE with one big LV bag . I cant afford to pay for my friend's LV bag.ha

So i asked for directions and got on a bus to galleria without knowing the exact bus stop. was glad the driver understand english, he directed me the stop and i got off,walked and asked for more directions. i got myself in galleria eventually.

2nd nightmare- LV was flooded. wasn't it suppose to be recession now??? i finally got the bag and wallet after 1 hr plus in the shop, jus waiting waiting and queueing.

3rd- i still need to queue again to get the form for tax rebate.so another half an hr. But i was glad to bump into the crew at the mall, cos i realised i forgot to ask for the directions back to the hotel. i was already ready to just read the map and figured my way home.

by the time i got back to the room, it was already 6pm.

then was early reunion dinner with the set of crew... as the grp was big, our dinner only ended at 10plus pm after some rounds of wine. i concussed abt 11pm in my room.

The next day, i wanted to rest rest and nua. lunch was just intended to be 2 or even just myself. ended up to be 4 . and i was dragged by my colleague to Champ Elysee. was thinking of just making a short trip there to look for some skincare prdts which hoh's sister is looking for. the short trip ended only at 7pm! i regretted going there seriously, too much time wasted in a group and the prdts i discovered, could actually be found just opposite my hotel. WTF.

Been super busy with all the celebrations and gatherings! But super happy too..enjoyed myself totally! feels great to be around with loved ones during festive season.

but..i've got simply no time to for the stuff that i m suppose to do.

1.finish the little nyonya that i've missed when i m abroad.

2. clear up my messy closet and room. (gonna take years)

3. clear up my cargo ( haven even really empty my cargo since i touched dwn on 20th)

4. Look for another cargo and claim it.

5. Look for another lens cover. (lost it on xmas day, boo)

6. Pack for the next trip.

7. cut my hair

8. start planning for my hkg trip in feb and book accomodation .

...and the list goes on..

i wish we have 48 hrs a day.

And worst of all, my leave is coming to an end..i m still feeling festive!haha..

here i am, alone in Los Angeles, feeling sick, lonely and miserable. I have never thrown up so much in my life, my stomach has never felt so empty. i have just become the PR of the dear toilet. dunno which damn food cause me so much trouble on my flight and make me look so bad.
instead of being sympathetic, i felt dirty looks.

i wanna go home...

perhaps the only comfort is my flat tummy now.

Weekends are always too short.
Me and hoh wasted our weekend nuaing. Saturday evening spent running errands, sunday we reached Hort park only @ 5pm to welcome the rain and later dinner with my family.
Ok sunday was my fault cos i slept only at 6am on sat to wake up to a freaking 3pm, blame it on jet lag.

Sunday night was again a sleepless night, i had to pop melatonin in order to induce sleep at 2am!
I hate that feeling.

anyway, I wish we'll have more discipline to wake up earlier next time to enjoy a longer weekend.

New york entry is in the making but i am off to sydney tonight. (hi again, aiwen! haha)
and my milan photos are way overdued. I give up.

Things were fine in a group. no strong urge to buy anything while the rest shopped and buy.

I don't like pressure while shopping, nor ppl waiting for me so i left the group with the aim of taking pictures leisurely...

Then this got over me...

So i ended up with the following. Shit....

It must be fate. i shopped the 1st 2 prada stores with the crew but there were no stock of the colour i fancy. the 3rd one ,i went in alone and that's it. i got the wallet i was eyeing almost a yr back.. my fave was white but i will not get another white wallet to dirty it in a month. so...i settled for the 2nd best on my 4th trip to milan... only on my 4th trip.. so am i disciplined or not? ha

Just woke up not long ago. yes @ a freaking 5pm sin time, but here I am. still considered an early bird.

Sneaked a few minutes of my stay in Milan now to blog about my last trip to ROMA.

My 2nd visit to ROMA happened just 2 months after my 1st visit. this time round, weather was welcoming!

Each time i see these pictures, my hairs will stand. It is indeed very very creepy.

Undeniably, it's an unique sight no one should miss. The crypt was finely decorated with bones of Capuchin friars over many many years. And some of the figures look mummfied with faces..

Next, we went colosseum and some roads are closed due to the massive demostration.

for a grand 1k... pockets burnt but its all worth it. I've been eyeing this toy since i came across it on a DSLR article on Digital life ST.

i guess its one of the most compact and user friendly SLR..Good for noobish beginners like me.

I hope i will beat its bulkiness and take good shots where ever i travel..

P/S : suddenly the portabilty of a digital camera seems so tempting..whaaha

I now feel enriched reading those manuals..pretty technical but i am a science student so i hope i can pick the basic skills up ASAP!!!!

good enough, i managed to get a rome flight right after my holidays. my 1st visit to rome, a place i have always been dying to visit esp after watching 冲上云霄。weather is unbearingly hot too.august is hot everywhere!!!

yesh..i managed to change flight to do the super draggy and long new york with steph.
we had a great time shopping and chatting to bed.

then within the same month. i went new york again, this time via frankfurt. i used to dislike that place cos there was this time when i did frankfurt for consecutive so many months. pretty boring place but food was pretty good.

this home made yoghurt is superb!

i slept through my 1st day in new york.woke up at 3am and was amazed by the crowd at this hr.
it was a long and lonely night.

my 2nd day in new york was spent looking for my friends and brother stuff but as usual ended up buying myself.haha.

was in a very good mood after this flight cos i m off for my hols.ok next post will be my long awaited hols!

okok..finally a post like after months. so after my 1st LAX trip, i got a taipei flight after almost a yr! so happy. i love taipei, for their food , for their hospitality and the vibrancy.
n of cos the handsome taiwanese idols.whahah.

n i spotted my current fave! mike he..hoho.

after which, i got paris and coincidentally its a weekend and yewzhen wanted a short trip to paris...so tada, so happy to have company for travelling. revisted some of the places and was a different experience from winter paris earlier.

4 nights in LAX

well well this was in my draft like a month ago. Did my 1st super long flight direct to los angeles early june. was lucky to have jen with me. way up was fine cos the flight time was just a little longer than london. on the way back was so busy and i couldnt sleep during my 2nd rest, so when i touched dwn, i m literally paralysed for the whole day. Hoh even had to bring me dinner, cos i m jus a lump of flesh that couldnt even move.

Also its my 1st time driving in states! ..wow. its really quite an experience coping with jet lag and left hand side driving. I forgot how many times i wanted to signal but end up activating the wiper. well, we saved at least half renting the car to the factory outlet compared to getting a private transport there.

Say bye bye to our 1 day car.

2nd day , me and jen took a train down to downtown LA from Anaheim.

40 mins train ride and an hr bus ride b4 we finally reached santa monica beach.

was a drama way back to anaheim cos we missed the last santa monica bus to the train station. we could have catch another bus but this ang moh author was talking to us for a whole 45 mins and promoting his new book that we never realised the last bus timing had left. -_-

we had no choice but to take a cab which is an hr by bus away to catch the last train. n it came up to a freaking amount of 60 usd my god!!!! but wat to do, we dont want to be stranded.

dearest woeiling touched dwn, so we went cheese cake factory .yummy,.

had mongolia bbq at westfield mall. nt bad!

and steph touched dwn, so after a day of shoppin at westfield, we pigged out in jen's room.

we ended my trip at I hop , good breakfast and great company. steph n wl continued their shopping while i had to drag myself for another 17 hrs flight.

the pool which all of us wanted to dip in but simply have no time.

hopefully, i will have my july trips up soon.haha

Anyway it was in mid april when i was there with woeiling. My procastination style is procastinating.

15th apr- Milan

My next milan flight wasnt far away. so i was there again in early may. this time round, good weather permits me to visit Pisa and Florence. We rushed both within a day. Not a wise choice cos our stay at Pisa ended up being only half an hr due to an unforeseen train delay.

Dont ever go to the Scene at wisma if u wan a haircut. u can check em out if u want temp setting.

it looks ok here cos they blow ur hair so nicely dat u cant tell how ur hair will look like after the cut.n thats the major problem.

curls r supposed to b layered nicely but now they r bluntly snapped off and it's horizontal @ the ends... sigh..

One of e nicest weather i experienced in london this time. was a great trip was the flight was unusually light on the way up and i managed to catch up with a long time friend.

our short dinner at maxell grill. yummy calamari. a pity we had to pack e ribs back cos we were rushing to catch e play.

Dirty dancing, Finally i caught it this time. n i managed to get a discounted tic for that day. usually it's always full house n tics wun go for discount cos its a pretty new musical.
lucky us got the stall tics for 45 pounds compared to the usual 60.

we were so inspired to do dancing again after e play. Really a very glitzy and entertaining musical.
i enjoyed their dances so much n aso oogling @ their pretty faces n perfect figures.

only mad thing that day was that my sling bag strap broke!!! arrr..my bdae gift n fave outstation bag. so i got an excuse for the vinatge bag which i bought frm primark dat day.

Poor yewzhen missed the last train and stayed over @ my room for the night. she had to leave so early the next morning to go back to work. Thanks for coming down london ,babe!

B4 my blog grows mould, i better start digging out what i've done the past busy weeks.
as for my 2 milan flights which i've been sightseeing to new places, shall blog abt them when i have e energy n time.

Phew i just completed the airbus training today. Most of the time was spent gossiping and catching up with my lovely batchies. Lucky all of my batch gers are gonna be trained for the same fleet, so more chances to change flight to do togther, i hope.

Steph is so cute, she tagged all our names.

N i brought Hoh to mushroom pot to celebrate this bdae in advance n surprised him with his pressie. I m good cos he really thought i din prepare any gift. So happy the tissot watch matches him so well. but bad aso cos i gave away the secretly arranged KTV later. blame it on my stupid phone which failed the last min. Pui. It was a near perfect plan. too tired to elaborate now.

Woo.. finally back from milan. it's time to start blogging away before i forgot all abt my 2 trips to milan n lahore of late.

Ok lahore 1st.

Lahore 26th april.

How i pass most of my time in Lahore.Eat , sleep and watch DVDs.

I finished 1 whole taiwanese drama. Weather was blazing hot and i cant go out as i please in Pakistan. too scary.

We were pretty hesitant to check out the bazaar cos there were no guys with us. To make things worse, we discussed abt those bombing incidents. one steward who went lahore last month experienced a bomb scare @ a shopping center. Sounds really terrifying.

my 1st time outstation experiencing so much anxiety . But cant help to go out n take a look at how the locals lived.

The traffic was scary. cant tell from this pic though.

Finally here. the tuk tuk ride cost us oni 1 buck or so. me, still looking a little scared.

we spend almost 2 hrs at this khussa house. Look at the mess we created.

2 of my colleagues bought like 10 pairs each can.

the thick aromatic milk tea they offered. Nice!

i have no intention to gt any.but sitting 2 hrs in e shop got me 3 pairs of khussa.haven worn them yet cos actually not very comfortable. waste $$ but i love the silver pair.

Time to leave..can u tell i'm hot n sweaty all over.haha

Later in the evening we signed up for a tour to the borders of India and Pakistan to catch the change of guards.

On the way there, this is what i saw. and mind you, the cows and horse were bathing in the same river as well. Van was a little too fast so din managed to catch hold of the animals.

The little gal who entertained us through the ride. Was very surprised that the family brought the kids here for a holiday. Hmmm not a very wise choice i suppose? what can a 3-5 yr old kid remember when she grows up? its def a good idea to bring the kids to see poverty but mayb abt 10 yrs old.

Our attempt @ being happening failed cos the dancers were out of town and the place was soooooo quiet with no 1 at e dance floor at all. so again, we self entertained.

My past 2 memorable flights

Before my MC, i went for my beijing flight. the new airport was indeed very gigantic. took us nearly half an hour to get from the gate to our coach.

n as usual, massage is a must ,recommended by my colleague., the boss 杨文 and team provides traditonal professional massage personally to your hotel doorstep. saves u the hassle of even gtting out of ur PJs. ( if any1 wans the contact no the next time u go beijing , let me know)

I've heard abt gttingthe masseur to the room b4 but was pretty skeptical about it. since it was already midnight when we got to the hotel and i really wanted a massage, i decided to give it a shot.

the girl got to my doorstep on the dot and i was surprised she looked really young. i was thinking " so young, gt skills nt"

Man, i was impressed by both her strength and her professionalism. it was one of the best massage i have had so far. hey its oni 20 bucks for full 2 hours massage-both feet n body. my stiff shoulders felt so good after that.

during that 2 hrs, we had a really gd chat n i found out alot abt her , her family n her profession.
she's only 20 and has been in e line for 2 yrs. she lead a dramatic life. her infant brother gt suffocated under those thick winter blankets and her mother ,blaming the tragedy on herself commited sucide by jumping into the river nearby. shes working now to send $$ back to her sick father and a not very nice stepmother.

n cos of her service and stories i paid her 30 bucks sing instead of 20. hahaha. it might sound like i kena conned by her poor stories but i chose to believe her cos i was e one who initiated and brought the conversation that far. We singaporeans are really very sheltered.

after massage @ 3am i was freaking hungry so i wanted to get something light on the room service menu. i imagined the "dumpling" to be finger food but woah! it turned out to be 10-20 dumplings. like what u c in the pic,it really was nt tasty but i finished ALL. Call me monster.

n backtracking, my Narita- LA flight from 23rd mar to 29th mar. the flight that i got sick but the sakura is all worth it.

1st day in Los angeles after zero slp for the night. With cutie tiff @ little block of orange.

my set of crew was really nice esp these gals. we clicked pretty well. Us @ the cheesecake factory after shopping. they really have damn big serving n really good n smooth cheesecake. slurp.

The scorning hot california sun. Pity i was already nt feeling well on my clear day, so i went mall shopping instead of santa monica. a place i was yearning to go.

N yeahoo, i touched down in Tokyo on 27th! Was really quite sick when i got there but i cant miss the sakuras and my gals. the only pity is we din not make it to sanrioland in the end.

I am really quite lucky to be rostered with my batchies, and aso fortunate that we managed to change flights to do togther. Nothing beats having a companion in a foreign country, and someone who chats with u to bed.

My 2nd flight with Jo after hkg sfo. She's so lame n funny. really miss those crazy times in hongkong with her. this time round was a jarkata night stop. ok very outdated. this was in Jan.

us @ the hotel lobby. Just came back from a powerful 2 hrs javanese massage.

Our candlelight dinner @ the room. Shiok nasi goreng.

The next day was a link flight to London..

Gloucester station

We bought our tics for Les miserables for abt 27 pounds. quite a gd deal. I hate to say , but i dozed off abt half e play. was not too bad, but maybe slightly draggy. quite tired by the time we reached e theatre. the subway broke down midway and we had to rush to gt a cab which was stuck in a jam. was a frantic rush.
Jo said" wah lau, i rather pay to sleep inside than we missed half e play" . luckily we were allowed to enter after 10 mins into e show but indeed she slept inside.whahaha.

My mood was immediately lifted!! She damn power, nvr sleep a wink after 14 hours of flight and joined me for breakfast n shoppin right after washing up.

My next long flight is London again in Mar. Was rostered with one of Lil Steph's best friend Jasmine. Steph was so nice to change over to our flight.

Somehow or rather, we managed to squeeze 3 in a room very comfortably with our wacky ideas.had a good few hours of sleep b4 we head to Bayswater for good Ducky.

Heard the chef from four seasons moved to Gold mine, so we had our duckie their since they have complimentary soup too. yum yum.

1st day was short cos everywhere closes early on a sunday night. last stop was La senza where we had some gd buys.

all 3 of us bought the scent bag in e form of a bra..so cute man. n little steph brought her piggy for all her long flights. so sweet right but i really wonder how she squeezed it in.

2nd day was breakfast @ the hotel for 6.5 pounds. nt too bad for UK pricing.

Phatom of the opera was awesome!!! I m so proud . i didnt fall asleep at all!!!but i know the 2 young gals din like it as much, mayb they r still too young for it.whaha.anyway, i loved the stage effects to bits. the sudden appearance of the phatom, the rowing of the boat across the stage was so real and e falling chandelier. The backdrop was damn good too!! I enjoyed myself a lot for this musical. Ok my next london, i want to catch Dirty dancing on stage. Shall search for the movie to watch 1st.

talking about maldives, shall review my thots of my 1st visit there. we need to take a boat from the airport to the resort. upon reaching i saw schools of fishes in the crisp clear water. i was so so so exhilarated. probably one of the most beautiful sight i've seen. 2nd to niagara falls now if u ask me.

There were a lot of sharks at the shallow water last time. this time round i only spotted 1 or 2.

Super beautiful blend of the blues... ok besides that, i was a lot slimmer then.pui.. I MUST GO ON DIET!

Noticed the hooks on top of the houses? They are used for moving furnitures into the houses through the windows. most of the houses have narrow and winding stairway that is almost impossible to move any furniture up the stairs.

I can't imagine if i were to be here with my girlfriends. its really shop..eat..shop..eat...see..shop shop shop n eat eat eat.. i heart Japan! i never get sick of shopping here.

my past osaka flights all were too short for me to spend time discovering Namba..

this time round, i was really lucky to have 1 clear day. But it's still not enough!!! hmm but i've already burst my allowance..arhhh..

my lunch - 金龙ramen... soup is very tasty and the pork is marinated to perfection! Whee.

this shop caught my eye with its dancing accessories n costumes.

i think this store called "dolphin" or watever has really one of the best custard i ever eaten. i ordered a hot puff with choc chips. imagine hot custard with melting choc in ur mouth n crispy crust.nothing but shiokness!

i found the type of boots i was looking for all the while. Fitting, leather and simple. Its original price was 200 plus n its going half price.. still ex for my budget for i really like it so much i cant resist buying. i wore it on e spot!! No regrets.. comfy!!!

ok, it's been a month.... As usual,A busy busy month... went for short holiday with my batchies to Bangkok, Watched my 1st play in London with Josephine, Celebrated Dia's Bdae, took my 1st ride in Hoh's new toy, Done my 1st Amsterdam flight, been chinatown shopping with cactus, spent my CNY eve n Chu yi having Gastric in melbourne, spent a wonderful new year visiting and catching up with my pals, celebrated Vday with Hoh in advance and now here i m in Osaka again.

I just burst another 100 bucks on groceries shopping today. I can't help it but i simply heart e FOOD here. My 1st time spending a clear day in Osaka tomorrow. so excited to shop again in Japan. Namba, here I come!!!

Anyhows there are too many events i want to keep track. I need to really recap my amsterdam stay before i cant even remember the names of the places i've visited.that shall be an entry on its own. Next one .. Hopefully.

Its our monthly anniversary cum earlier Vday celebration. Hoh took 1 n 1/2 day off to spend time with me. We didn't have any concrete plans n since i havent gt my dearest any pressie, i went ahead with a last min plan to book carlton for a mini getaway. It was a pretty good deal i would say, after my hours on research online.

My intention was to have their famous wah lok dim sum on our check out day but sadly there's NO DIM SUM during new yr season.. duhhhh..WTH.

Hoh got me a pleasant surprise which he described as something he intended since a yr ago. and this item has everlasting value. He hinted its not so cheap price and asked me how much i bought my mum's LV for. I was pretty convinced he got me some branded bag for a bomb which i secretly hope not cos it's just not worth when i can get it so much cheaper elsewhere. N seriously 1000 plus a bag.. i dont think i can bear to spend that much on just 1 bag yet. 1000 plus i can buy 5 VEry decent bags. k i m gttin out of point.

Hoh's totally excited to hand me the gift, it was really something that never cross my mind.

New year in SFO

I was really really lucky to have josephine with me on my long flight. During training days, we didn't really had the chance to interact much cos we were seated so far away.

Now then i realise she's such a crazy girl and we clicked so well. It's really one of the best and most 疯狂 flight i've done

Busy Busy Busy with FUN!!!

Dec was filled with laughter, joy and craziness... a very eventful yr indeed.

In a blink of eye. i've been flying for more than a yr. Despite some shitty flights with horrid peeps, jet lags, rubbish sleeping patterns, i've generally enjoyed my past 1 yr. I really appreciate the chance to travel the world, my crazy shopping and those unforgettable sightseeing n of course my off days. Well, no life and job is perfect. without rain, there wouldn't b rainbow isnt it??

2008 is a new year.. was so busy to set any resolution yet. shall do it b4 CNY , hopefully.

Full of excitement for the new year, but full of uncertainties too esp for my career plan. I gave myself 2 yrs to travel the world, to experience a life no one else can imagine. 2 yrs is gonna be up by Aug. Will i be able to leave my comfort zone, to lead a 9-5 life( or rather 9-9 life) ? how m i gonna cope with the pay cut? Shall i pursue a career or a free n easy lifestyle?? Etc n etc.. Ah,,,,watever.. i shall take a step at a time n enjoy all i can now.hee..

Family time

OMG. its 4 plus am and i cant get to sleep. Hoh is soundly asleep on his mattress now. I am so frustrated with my hay wire biological clock and i m aching all over.

It's terrible when he has to sleep early at 10plus pm and i am wide awake at wee hours.

Now, our only time spend together during weekdays is from 7 to 11 pm and usually i will be energetic while he, having a long day at work will be pretty tired so we cant go anywhere either. Lately, i have been away for most wkends so not much quality time togther..booohoo.. cant wait to come back from sydney where he's gonna clear his 2 days of leave with me.yeahoo

In order to pass time and get myself tired, i shall blog again.

Quite happy that i managed to get some time off with my family. last last wkend i went swimming with them. my cousins are all 10-ish but being the big kid , i think i mix with them pretty well.whaha, we had quite a good time playing relay.

I totally adore my sis for this expression of hers. me , sis n my cousin elson in dad's car.

Last night, we had a table for a relative's wedding. so of course, i gotta be there for good food.

Italy..where my heart belongs

I think italy is one of my favourite europe station, cos it's very romantic esp Venice and it has the nicest tiramisu around. and everywhere you go, you get to enjoy a nice warm foamy cappuccino with the loveliest tiramisu that melts in my mouth. I swear i had that dessert almost everyday in Milan.def 4 out of 5 days.. N even Mccafe there served superb cappu and tiramisu.. i'm drooling over it again....never been such a coffee lover b4..

We put up at this hotel called the Chedi which is in a residential area, nt so convenient. but at least they had reasonably priced italian food around the area. my reasonably price means 10 euro for a meal, so u can imagine the normal priced items in town. anyway this hotel is very newly furbished.hmm i like it!

My 1st meal . this is 10 euros n very delicious. the crayfish looks like prawn isnt it.

N here's where we had our pasta. very homely n xmasy.

Then it was Off to some sightseeing in Milan!

Who knows the weather forecast predicted a 100 % precipitation so we gave it a miss cos we din wanna visit a raining Pisa.. soo disappointed. 2nd day became shopping day too.didnt gt anything for myself anyway

milano's curse

As usual.quite tired. Been in milan for 3 nights. this is my 4th night.
Milan is really a heaven for designer brands. 3/4 of the crew had to do some shopping here either for friends or themselves. One of them brought her husband along for holiday and she already bought 5 bags. Poor hubby.

Out of curiosity, i went in Prada, Miu miu and Gucci etc simply to take a look. I dont have a thing for LV all the while. Been a few times to LV in europe, no strong temptation and cant bear to spend that much to get anything. But my god lo.. the attraction to the italian brands was so so strong. The new prada series is SOOOO nice, and Miu miu bags are oozing of style. N i chanced upon this Gucci wallet for winter season in my fave GOLD trimmings. i never thought i like Gucci till i see this. I really love it. i cant find e exact pic online yet, probably nt that updated. I actually stood there n struggled for very long before my rational mind conquered my heart. i keep pyschoing myself i dont need a wallet for 10 ,000 times. that wallet was abt $400. my other me was telling myself , hey pamper yourself once in a while and get urself a xmas gift ,furthermore u cant find such a price in singapore.

I am glad i had enough self control. I am sure there's a curse in all these shops. A very strong curse that blinds the rational side of you and induce you to take one of em home. I realised my budget is pretty tight this month cos it's the festival season and i'm going bangkok cuming january. On top of that, this milan trip i already spent quite a bit on sightseeing and food. Sightseeing always come 1st foe me.

I'm amazed by this crew who i went shopping with. She told me she just want to go downtown to take a walk and she has NOTHING in mind to buy. She already bought a Gucci wallet on her 1st day just because she felt like buying something and she thought its CHEAP so why not. That's the one i m very fond of but she got it in another colour. N she said she bought it cos its cheap..cheap leh..win liao lo... something that i had to think about for half an hr and end up not buying.

We spent around 4 hrs shopping and she spent near $900 on 2 furla bags , 1 boots and 1 $65 bucks keychain while i only got 2 gifts from H n M and Zara for my sydney friends and a milano fridge magnet for myself. I am very proud of myself. whahahah. She admitted she din really save after 3 yrs of flying. for me, i think i love $$ more.

Anyway I am so excited abt the patent metallic leather bags this season. every brand has a bit of that. so bling i like! I am so gonna opt for cheaper alternatives for that. Hongkong awaits me anyway.....

Once again, i am a proud girl. whaha..yea right, my weakness is food, i foresee another burn in my pocket @ narita supermarket.

Ok gonna turn in now, shall upload my milan n venice pics when i go back sing. I cant wait to return to feel the warmth of Hoh's paw once more....

Super tired now. aching all over.. i slept at 1plus am yesterday night n woke up to my irritating alarm tone at 4.40am this morning. Did my bun n make up in the most reluctant mood when my hoh was slping soundly in my room.
Hate the fact that it's supposed to be a cheery sunday morning N i had to report for flight.i really wanna pack my hoh in my cargo.booo..I had to kp comforting myself that i am doing a japan flight n hey thats gonna be over fast !
Indeed, it's over fast..so fast that this was one of the flight i thought i lost a kg at least. We didn't even have time to gobble our food at all. 2 meal services within 5.5 hrs and a huge bunch of our lovely kids holidaying during DEC.
I was walking non stop for 5.5 hrs, half e time doing competitive walking through the aisle and half e time doing on the spot stretching during service. My mouth ought to be fittest part of my body cos it never rest, either smiling or talking.

I knocked out on my way to the hotel n we reached only around 515pm. yea, the rush was nt over,i had to cheong to shop b4 e shops closed at ard 8pm.

N i really shopped till i dropped. 80% of my purchases are food items. stylo not. I'm such a food addict. Gosh. N i really love grocery shopping in Japan, i 'm such a born auntie.

FYI, this is a queen sized bed.

Ok dinner 1st b4 we start. no choice no strength to walk another 2.4km.

After that i spotted one of my fave "fast food", the vending machine ordering system is really efficient. too bad no more stomach space for it.

I'm in e mood for xmas so i got this. i think i m mad.

Namba ,osaka. pity i din't have the time to enjoy the walk along the brightly lit streets.

Rushed back to the hotel to offload my barangs barang that i've bought.

Next, this very nice chief stewardess brought us to a "carrefour" that open till 3am each night.walkable dist from our hotel.

n there, i found a heaven for bunnies. XXXL carrots, they r real BIG and fresh looking. lucky japan rabbits...

Very spoilt for choice when each of their prdt is a NO 1.Tip top marketing.

E goodies that filled the WHOLE basket n i'm paying for them.Ouch!

I've serious weakness for mascaras. I bought a fiberwig at namba but i cant resist when i saw this. SOOooo oooo Cute lo. Fairydrops leh. n the brush looks lik fishballs. Hope it doesnt disappoint.

So now i 'm back @ my very stuffy hotel which only has heater during winter and no aircon. Hello, i dont have a thing for sauna you know.

anyhows, some recap on my week b4 i cant rem .. i'm losing it.cant write anymore.jus pics.very shagged now.

start of my week @ bangkok. where i had minute slp also. 1000 things to do in bkk with the shortest amt of time.

seafood @ chinatown. my 1st time eating Real grey RAW prawns..done in the thai salad style.nt too bad but just felt weird. it's the dish behind the tom yam soup.

Then of cos FAVE !!! massages.. i love hw thai massages cracks ur bones. but i hate it when u r abt to fall slp and they twist n toss your body all round.

Then tea with teachers again @ usual place.

nite was von's bdae celebration but cam no batt so no pics. boo..

me n bdae gal.

After that, my stomach got pretty upset, not sure if i ate too much or what. felt lik indigestion for few days. these few days of my life, i nvr eat so little and so qing dan before. life without good food is a torture.

No choice so wkend plans to feast with hoh is out. We caught e movie "enchanted" and ate very light n soupy food.wahah..

Enchanted is such a cute n funny movie. Totally dig it!! Watch it watch it if u love fantasy like me...

act like we're young couple..go suntec fountain to date.

n yea yea..i am going sydney to meet up with aiwen though i really hate sydney flights..but for u..what to do.what are friends for right? whaha.. Heng i m not 380 trained. cant imagine doing 3 or 4 sydney in a month..

n yea yea i gonna leave home nw else i gonna b late again n alina's gonna kill me.

Romancing Paris

Paris did not turn out to be as romantic as i thought it was.Not sure if its the freezing weather that we couldnt enjoy the surroundings or the bad service when dining. The streets to me are not too different from other europe stations But it's true Paris does have lotsa fashion icons on the street..n i was still pretty touched by the hourly blinking lightshow on the iconic effiel tower @ night.

Xmas is in the air.

After we ran our errands, we settled @ Leon's Mussels for a meal. we ate up to a hefty sum of 50 euros for both. My steak was not up to expectation but the rest were all very yummy.

The mussels were fantastic, so were the prawns. Slurp!

I love the creme brulee too.

Then , the next day, woeiling braved the cold to sight see with me though most of the places she had already been.. ahah Thanks babe.

2nd day was really freezing . i bet its a minus 5 degree maximum. so cold we had to buy gloves on the spot n even with em on, our poor hands were frozen.

Next up was Effiel Tower, no train was operating there, we took to the nearest station possible and shared cab with one couple to the Effiel. The man was so gentlemanly , he rejected our $$. Lucky woman with him.

The blinking Tower was really awesome. It's really quite romantic.but only once in an hr n last for prob 5 mins... We were most excited when the lights came on and we snapped whatever pics we could.

Both of us were so exhausted and cold by 7pm so we really tried our might to grab any cab in sight. Heng we didnt gt to wait for too long.. den it started raining and we settled @ a restaurant near our hotel for dinner. Horrible service n bad food (mine was).. i swear never to step in there again. Pui.

Then on our touched dwn day in Sin, Steph n i met up with Woeiling to celebrate her bdae in advance.

We went wisma for ichiban boshi. that place never failed to fill my stomach with satisfaction.

I want a white xmas one day!!!!

n we caught the bdae ger by surprise by sneaking out to get her the pair of heels she's been eyeing while she's the e washroom...

Had quite a few gals gathering recently. I am starting to miss those days where we could meet up as n when we want. Now that everyone is busy with work.,it isnt easy to have full attendance all the time but i'm glad we r still making efforts. Too bad i missed out steamboat with bibibabibu last thurs. Zurich with my batchies 5 - 8 nov

Lucky for me that my batch mates are doing the same flight one after another. Else i will die n cry myself to slp cos my set of crew all wanna hibernate.

One of the smallest room so far. With the thinnest pillow ever. n they charged even for bringing up a bowl. i gave up and ate my porridge with e ice bucket. stupid stanley then told me he heard of crew who washed their undies with the bucket.. YUCKS!!!! pui pui pui...

I woke up and took a tram to town to meet my buddy stephy who just came back from the mountain tour.

Then stephy departed on my clear day , and another steph and stanley touched down. Poor them, they washed up after their flight and immediately cheong for mount titlis with me..whaha.

On the motorcoach..steph was energetic but stanley fell aslp on the 2 hrs ride to mt titlis.

I got tonnes of pictures and updates to do.My batam trip is still in my draft post and i wanna post e pixs of my snowy zurich trip...but i don't know whats wrong. Cant upload a single pix....PEK CEK manz...

Anyway received an email for a commendation letter by a passenger on my flight. I remembered when i received my 1st few compliment letters during my probation period, the company don't even bother to email and acknowledge our work. Now, at least they show slight appreciation. The last commendation email i received was for the whole set of crew but this is just for me.Hee.
